Another
great achievement for the Bulgarian National Team
in the World Short Track Speed skating Championship in Korea.
The
national team composed from competitors from Ice Peak Sports
Club achieved good
results in the World Short Track Speed skating Championship in Korea (
07-09.03.2008).
During
the first day Evgenia Radanova and Marina Georgieva-Nikolova
reached the
semifinals in the 1500m races. The ladies relay ( Evgenia Radanova, Marina
Georgieva
Nikolova, Daniela Ivanova and Gergana Patsova ) took the fourth place in
the heats after a
seriously fall.
In the 500m sprint the girls conquered 9 and 11 place.
In the final day on 1000m Radanova reached the fifth place with third best
time in the
semifinals. The other competitor – Marina Georgieva-Nikolova finished
28th.
There will not be any time for a break because next week is the World Team
Championship
(Harbin – China) where our ladies team is one of the top 8 teams that will
take a part in the
competition.
